Week 10 Monday – Hovering on “Analyze Boston” Open Data Hub

I followed the website for Analyze Boston where it gives the information about the data hub of the Boston city between January 2013 and December 2019 from the Boston Planning and Development Authority (BPDA).

Examine Boston is the open data hub for the City of Boston, where you can obtain statistics, data, and maps about our daily lives in the city. In order to facilitate the release of public information from the City in the form of data and to make that information easily accessible to a wide range of users, we are striving to establish this as the standard technological platform.

The topics which are mentioned on then website for the analysis are like Geospatial, City Services, Finance, Environment, Economy, Public Safety, and many more around 246. There are some recommended topics given in sections as popular datasets and new or modified datasets.

I am hovering to the topics which are given on the website and try to analyse where I can put my efforts more towards the betterment of the particular field on which I will be working on it. I am thinking of working in the economy model in which I can make analysis on the trends, making informed decisions, and communicating insights like gross domestic product (GDP), inflation rates, consumer spending, and stock market performance.

I will figure out my topic in my next blog and will start working on the analysis.
