Before moving forward in the blog, I showed the the killings by the police on the basis of gender in my second last blog from this date. Later on, I worked on in creating a heat map to show the remaining variables and the ANOVA in between them and correlation between the two datasets. While working on the second data set in which the information of the cops is given as per the departments in the different states of United States of America.
While performing the task on second data I tried to get the correlations between the variables such as ‘ID’ of a cop and the encounters (Total Shootings) has been done by them. This scenario again I tried to map on the heat-map technique to easily understand the relations of encounters by each police man. I performed the Correlogram, a type of heat map are frequently observed in an exploratory capacity, assisting analysts in comprehending the connections between variables to support the development of descriptive or predictive statistical models.
One can refer the picture below to this post where I plotted the heat map for the variables Id and Total Shootings happened by the cops in the United States. Clusters of both the variables are often non-similar to each other and exhibits the different behaviour. The variation in between is bit high and the point of correlation in between them is getting 0.14. By this, I can assume that the encounters happened by the cops are often uneven and that it to based either on the ORI codes or on the ranking order of the police departments.
in my next blog, I will try to plot the clusters for the for the shooting happened by the police in their entire service.
